I posted this somewhere else but i fell it wasn't in the right thread. I really need help. I have a movie file on my computer of my little brothers first steps and need to put it on dvd. I have nero 6 burner, but its just a normal movie file to play in Windows media player (MP4??).

Can you plesae tell me how to convert it and then how to put it on disc.

When i click make a dvd on nero, it come up with two separate folders, audio and video. However, i ony have the one file, the movie. HELP!!!

down load GSpot and install load the video file and post the results back here and we will get you started

Hey, i downloaded it, after several attempts at working "winace" whichi had to download also, and this is what i got:

MPEG-1 System Stream << { 1 vid, 1 aud, 1 other }

It says mpeg video decoder down the bottom.

The audio is: MPEG-1 Layer 2.

Thats basically what i got. Is that ok?

from your description it sounds like you only have Nero express are you trying to put this on a DVD Or a CD ?

Im trying to put it on dvd. I have a dvd rewriter and on Nero express you have a drop down menu on which burner to use, and i always copy my friends dvds etc. So it does do dvds if that what your thining.

I think its Nero startsmart aswell, it has coverdesigner and everything with it.

you need software capable of compile dvd files (Vobs) Nero vision can do this for you also dvdlab pro both can be downloaded as trial versions check out the software section in the tabs above under guides you wil find plenty of help to walk you thru it

In afterdawn it only has dvd lab. Is that ok?

I now have original version of nerovision. I burnt it to dvd.

However, it is realy poor quality as it keeps skipping every few seconds and you can't hearhim very well. Is this just a side effect of it?

The quality should be the same did you use make dvd option in Nero vision ?
skipping can be caused by cheap media or burning to fast dont burn any faster than 4X

Well thats it mate, thanks very much i was burning at 8X. Ill try burn slower when im at home. Thanks very much dude.
