If you have a hard modded Xbox there is no need for soft modding.

hardmodded would mean that u already have a chip. There would be no reaason to softmod if u had a chip already.

XBOX v1.6, Samsung DVD, stock Seagate, SID4 - Avalaunch

If you want to softmod your xbox your going to need to take out the modchip. Otherwise a softmod may not work correctly. Chances are the chip will interfere with the softmod program on the hdd. If you need any help with anything at all feel free to ask me questions on this blog. Just post your questions on this thread and I will get back to you as soo as possible.

How doesn't it make sense?. Is not installing a dashboard such as evoX, aval, unleashx & such softmodding. Doesn't softmodding give u access to ftping your xbox & plus, it gives it a kool look to the load up screen. Do correct me if i'm wrong on these things. How many of you have chips with hard drives which give u tha ability to save xbox games & such & never having to use a burnt Disc. Would that rending hard drives useless if u say, well u can just play burnt games? why use a hard drive...right. If i'm losing yall on this just say so lol.

Then to the one who said it wouldn't work if u have a modchip installed. I don't see why it wouldn't.

As the chip contains the bios and runs first, wouldnt your chip have to boot the softmod?
As u said, I don't know if it will work as a soft mod uses the standard bios and half way through is tricked into loading a dash different to the MS one.
Isnt this like getting in your car, immediately getting back out then getting back in and then driving away?
I aint getting on no plane, fool!

Like i said before if you have a hard modded xbox you have no need for a soft mod. Just boot up your modded dashboard, locate the IP address, and ftp to it, its that easy. You guys are making it so complicating.
