I use DVD43 or CSS free in the background. I tried DVD decrypter but it wouldnt open it. Some sort of parssing problem trying to read the Movie. Used dvd fab to rip to hd - used clone dvd 2 to backup movie. When I watch movie it has jitters or pauses. Is it the media I am using? I use also DVD Shrink also but it wouldnt open movie either. Do I need to use VOB Blanker - if so what do I need to blank out? Any help would be appreciated.

First uninstall DVD43, it's outdated and in most cases useless. If you've made a backup to disk, using vobblanker isn't necessary. Use the latest version of DVDFab ver 2.9.7.0

If you're getting jitters or pauses while watching the movie chances are:

1) the media you're using is shitty/poor quality
2) you burning your backup too fast
3) if it's skipping twards the end of the movie, shrinks or CloneDVD output file size may be too large
4) your player may not be able to properly play the dvd because of incompatibility reasons.

so

1) try a different brand of media (I personally like verbatims)

2) set the write speed to 4x when burning, not greater than 8x

3) set shrink to create a custom output file size of 4300, this keeps you from burning too close to the outer edge of the disk, which is a no no. Goto edit-->preferences, set to custom and enter 4300. If using CloneDVD Set it for a target size of 4300MB.

4) read the player's manual and make sure that it's capable of playing DVD+/-Rs or RWs (use only media recommended). The other thing you could try is booktyping/bitsetting, If your burner supports it and are using DVD+R media, you can booktype the disk which fools the player into recognizing the disk as a DVD-ROM. Here is some easy reading on the procedure....
