right i had a look on the forums and couldnt find anything specific that i needed so i thought id start a new one if ive over looked something then please point me to the right thread

so ive got this mate and he likes the fact i can play my backed up games onj my ps2 he said how do i do it i said the three options chip , swap magic or hdd booting or what ever its call now i would like to find out about what it does so here i go

1. whats better hd loader or advance if there one and the same im sorry dont bad mouth me
2. can u use any old hard drive say one from the computer shop or ebay or somethin plus what would you need to hook it up to the ps2 bulky of course
3. can u back up a back up to your hard drive or does it have to be an origanal
4. can i have i detailed guide on how it works
5. i saw this package on the net for 300 bucks (australian ) comes with the hd advance thing and 200 gig hdd and yeah i just want to know if its a rip off ass maybe you could get the stuff cheaper seperatly or maybe out of your own pc

i know this is a lot to ask but i know the people here are pros so if someone can help i will be very gratful thx

Hd advance is better because it lets you use over a 200 gb hard drive where hd loader lets you use up to a 120 gb hard drive. Yes you can use just about any type of hard drive and you need a network adapter to connect it. Yes you can use a backup and put it on the hard drive. There really isn't a guide to use it but you can go to www.ps2hd.com That price is a rip off, your better off getting a better deal off of ebay.
