HELP- Nero CD/DVD SPEED

Hello All,

I am new to the nero cd/dvd speed thing and when I went to do a "disc quality test" it gave me an error message of "Drive does not support this function."

I am using an NEC DVDRW ND-3520A

Can anyone tell me why Im getting thiss message??

Thanks.

Also- doing this quality test, will it let me know if the media I am using will scratch or skip, is that what this test does???

I have no idea. I had that same drive, the NEC 3520, and I did quality scans all the time with no problem.

I just downloaded version 4.10 and it gave me the same error message. This is bizarre, anyone have a solution???

Okay, this is very frustrating. My laptop wont run this either, it gives me the same error message "drive does not support this function." What gives??????

I guess only some drive support the Disk Quality test function. I doesn't work for me either. I use NEC 6650A and I get the same message from CD-DVD speed or DVD Info Pro. Nothing works that can provide me the quality score.
