hey...sry if this is in the wrong place--please dont arrest me forum police..

ok well i was just wondering what the main advantages of Windows Media Center are, i have it ( hp, 1gb ram, 250gHDD, Geforce Ti 4200 ) and i im working on my HTPC as a project.. is there really a use to WMC besids the "organization" part such as being able to access media files from on program

MCE isnt really all that much better than XP pro. it just has the MCE program (which i personally think sucks ass)

it has the ability to encode to mp3 (pro can only do wma as standard)

and then theres the windows dancer... less said about that the better.

basically its just XP pro with a few add ons that you couldve found as freeware anyway.
