it just gives me the option of 1x 2x 2.4x or maximum
so when i set it to max i burn at 16x which is to high

like to set it at 4x (is there a way of doing that)

These are the default speed options nero displays when no media is present in the dirve, insert your media and allow it to be dectected. Once dectected you will be given more options and be able to set it to what ever you choose.
