To start, I have done some research and some SOME but not a definitive answer to the following scenario. I hope someone here can help.

- I have a JVC AV48p-575 television. It has an HDMI port.
- I am custom building an XP media center computer with the ATI AIW2006 edition AGP video card.
- I want to connect up this computer to the TV and use it as the display in my family room
- I am looking at purchasing two adapters:
- VGA to DVI
- DVI to HDMI
- How it should connect would be the AT dongle, gets connected to the VGA to DVI adapter, the VGA to DVI adapter connects to the DVI to HDMI adapter and then the DVI to HDMI adapter gets connected to the HDMI port on the rear of my TV.

Does this all make sense and will it work properly for television display?

Second quiestion, What types of settings have you all used when displaying your PC on your television? i.e. resolution, refresh rates, font sizes etc. So far all of the info I have read don't give any definitive answers.
