I have used DVD Decrypter and made ISO files of movies with the new Sony encryption. But DVD Shrink does not recognize the ISO files. What am I doing wrong?

Download DVDFab Decrypter from here: http://www.dvdidle.com
It is a free program that is updated regularly to keep up with newer encryptions. Run the files created with this through DVD Shrink as usual.

Thank you. I will go to this method next time I encounter Sony. My question at this time is that I have two movies that were encrypted with the Sony Arccos and they are now on my hard drive as ISO files. They run over 8 gigs each so cannot be burned directly on a disk. DVD Shrink will not recognize them as ISO files. Should I unpack the ISO's and try to shrink them down? Or is there a more efficient way to do this. Thanks again
The two ISO files are Flight Plan and Man of the House

The best way is (of course that is, if your dvd burner is capable of burning dvd+dl most do anyway...)buy yourself some dual layer media....good ones are verbatim, and ritek....you can get them at meritline.com or supermediastore.com...i got some ridata made by ritek 25 pack that run roughly to about $1.90 each with shipping. and burn the image with imageburn..in which you can get for free if you look in google.Like this you have an identical copy, instead of compressing the movies.Note: get yourself AnyDVD by slysoft....for $39.99 it's worth it's price in gold! it would run in the backround(next to your clock) and makes your pc think that the original movie is not copy protected! it's updated frequently.....check it's webside...slysoft.com they have great products....Later!

jimnesie,
In Shrink go to File> Open Disc Image> then process it accordingly. I think LOCOENG read your problem incorrectly as he told you how to do via the file method and not the .iso method.. Just take the 2 files you have and click on the .mds file for each movie and Shrink processes and then you keep what you want or do movie only. Shrink will recog them as .iso files but you asked it to recog an .iso as a .VOB file
cufu,
You need to use better blank d/l media as that blank media you are using is not that high of a quality. Try Verbatim as yes there is a big difference

@Car.Mike
I didn't misread, I don't think? He stated he has two ISO files already on his HDD that DVD Shrink will not open due to errors. I advised him to try VobBlanker, but as I'm not sure if VobBlanker supports the ISO format, I don't know if this was the solution...LOL
So my question now is, does VobBlanker support ISO image files?

If you put in "Afterdawn", Slysoft is presently offering a $20 discount on their products. I have had great success with AnyDVD.
