I was having some trouble with movies locking up and was told to keep my size to 4.3 or less. When I use Shrink the file will say 4.3 but when it is done and I go to my computer is shows to be 4.4 or more. Do I need to keep the files at 4.3 in Shrink as I am now or 4.3 when they are finished? I am not sure why the file is bigger than what it shows. Thanks.

Windows and other programs read gb differently. Be safe and do what DVD Shrink recommends. Does it lock up on everything?

I don't think the size of the file is causing you problems if you set it to 4.3GB. What kind of blank media are you using and at what speed are you burning? These 2 factors also play a very important role in the quality of your burn.

Are you having an issue with the quality of the burn, recieving an error or just inquiring about the size of the file?

Since I slowed down my speed to 4x my burns have been fine for the most part. I was just confused on which measurement to use for the 4.3.

Set the compression tab in Shrink to 4.3Gb. Again, what media do you use?
