Can you play online with satellite uplink

One of my friend told me that there is soemthing called a satellite uplink that is used be some wireless products like laptops which is pretty much the only true wireless internet since you can access the web from anywhere in the word without having to be near a router or in a hotspot. Do you think this would work for the PSP. I here it's very expensive but I'm curious to know if it would work.

I think satellite uplink is used mainly by ISP companies to offer internet to consumers or by companies which have netowrks that require lightning connections, I doubt you be able to wirelessly connect to a sattelite uplink station i dont think its 802.11g. I dont think your psp will be able to make full use of the connection, it buffers too slow.
