I am trying to copy a DVD and it analyses 99% and then it gives me an error "DVD Shrink encountered an error and is unable to continue. Data Error (Cyclic Redundancy check). Has anyone seen this and can help
CRC errors are usually caused by either a scratched, dirty, smudged, a bad press, or copy protected disk that shrink and decrypter can't handle. Make sure the disk is clean (clean it if it's not), if it's badly scratched in certain areas or if it's a bad press, you may not be able to back this one up so see if you can get another.
You could try using another ripper called DVDFab decrypter first(it's free). It's a whole movie ripper so you'll still need DVD shrink to reauthor (to remove extras) and transcode the movie. It's very good when it comes to backing up scratched DVDs if this is the case, and is kept upto date to keep pace with the new copy protection. Get it here...

Once DVDFab is done just use shrink to open the files with, reauthor the movie to remove the extras, have it create an ISO image that you can burn with DVD decrypter.
