I just installed my no solder modchip and tried to play my backup discs and it don't recognize my swap magic disc it reads no data when I put it in the console. It plays the original disc. Need some help

enlighten me why you'd need SM if you have a chip??? or is this not a quality chip like the DMS4 EZI??

I got a no solder modchip from modchip.com I got another one from them and worked for that ps2 console

your running in circles here, if you have a DMS4 EZI you do not need to use swap magic........what is the problem your up aginst here?

again, which chip did you get? if it's the one called 'No Solder Modchip' then it will only work in a V4-V7 console and at it's best it's still junk, you should of got the DMS4 EZI if that's the case.

i think he mean the chip that lets you open the tray without the ps2 knowing.

yes that is the chip I have where do you find one of those DMS4 EZI is it one you have to solder or non solder type andlet me know where I can find one of those chips

EZI means it's solderless, and you can get it the same place, modchip.com
