Creative Zen Micro problem! helllpppp!

So, all of a sudden, My zen micro stopped working.
It won*t get past the "creative" load screen, and then after about 6 minutes goes into recovery mode. I*m not sure which option to pick in recovery mode, cause i*m not sure which one does what.
any ideas?

it might be a firmware problem. have you tried upgrading it.

I got the same porblem, got the creative screen and that's it, talk to the tech at creative, didn't offer much help. unfortunately the zen just past the one year warranty. now I got a $250 paper weight.

I haven't tried this, as I don't own the same model as you, but you could try formatting it in 'My Computer'. Connect it to your computer & open 'My Computer'. Locate your Zen drive, then right click it & hit 'Format'. You haven't a lot to lose. let me know how you get on should you choose this option. :-)

help please!! my zen micro just topped working.. wen i turn it on it starts to rebuild libray and then stops half way and then goes to firmware problem.. wat is a firmware problem?!?! how do i fix it?!?!
