ok i have another question...if i got the slim kit 3.6 do i wouldnt need to flash anythhing huh...just burn games and away we go?

hhhey man your a very intelligent cat....i would love to have your knowledge...thank you for alllllll the help youve given me...but after all the buting chips and software and getting to thhe final burn and still coming up short i think ill just go with the slim kit and try that out...if i need your knowledge i know where to find you...thanks tokijin

If you use the slim kit pro with Swap Magic 3.6, you'd be fine. Normally I'd say don't bother since you have a modchip, but in your case I'll make an exception. Swap Magic is an excellent product. There are some things you need to know about Swap Magic: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/252193 Who know's maybe the whole thing was a hardware issue with your burner. Good luck.
