ya wal mart is full of a bunch of idiots and i did mine at target they opened it checked it was there and refunded my money i was pretty happy o and i kept the memory card, charger, and soft case. so ya i got out with a lot of free stuff from sony. man i love target

Sony may take them back if you bend the truth behind the matter. They can be generous but replacing customers "Disc Read Error" PS2's with refurbished "Disc Reading Error" PS2's is no better. You may be screwed either way.

if u dont want to do the swap trade it into gamestop they take them for 20 bux or sell it on ebay they sell for like 100 bux or so

they run the psp and see if the thing is working. if it doesn't turn on then they check it blah, blah, blah.

but if it comes on for 5 seconds and turns off, then they check the that. then they know that you did something to the firmware.

but yeah if you just say that something was wrong. instead of saying that you completley trashed it.

no i talked to sony and they said if i had the warranty they would give it to me for free and if not it would cost 90 bux to get it fixed
