Just curious, has anyone with a Lg 4163 burner successfully used Alexnoe's bitsetting which automatically sets the burner for dvd-rom on startup? I've had to use DvdInfoPro for bittsetting in conjunction with CloneDvd2.

@expresso, I believe the changes 499 from 500, are how many times you can change the region codes for your burner. My Lg says 4.....LOL, how generous of them.

My _NEC DVD_RW ND-2500 was also set to 4 max region changes, but when you flash it with new hacked firmware it makes it unlimited :)

lurk and learn....why would you want to change the settings of your burner other than to decrypt a dvd from another region?
