Yeah, tried that too. AnyDVD works for everything else but quits half way though the DivCode. Is everyone else here just assuming that it will work with that DVD just because it works with everything else? No matter which method I use with AnyDVD about 1/2 way through the app crashes.

@jeffguroo
Try ripping the movie to HDD with AnyDVD's ripper function and then open the video ts folder in Shrink or Recode and proceed as usual. To access the ripper right click fox head and select rip video-DVD to HD D

Alright, with the latest version of AnyDVD (uninstalled, downloaded, and reinstalled tonight), it would not decrypt, not with CloneDVD2, not alone, not ripped, not to the HDD Sam I am. AnyDVD would simply quit half way through and the executible would terminate. There is a way however.
This is how I managed to do it:
Downloaded RipIt4Me, DVD Decrypter, FixVTS and Shrink(if you do not already have it) <there is a handly link to each under the 'Downloads' menu item.>
Install or unzip all.
In RipIt4Me, click the 'Wizard Mode' button and set it up how you want it. It will load up DVD Decrypt... run that.
When that finishes in 'Step 4' of the wizard, make sure you click the 'Process with FixVTS' button, after that just click the 'Open with Shrink' button. I am sure that every one here knows how to use Shrink.

YES i do it all the time . after "RipIt4Me"its done with FixVTS don't let shrink start .open CloneDVD 2 click the browse tab in CloneDVD 2 find the folder (you should rename it so its easy to find before you open CloneDVD 2) then transcode and burn with CloneDVD 2 ,works like a charm.
remember you can use the ripper in AnyDVD and do the same thing but actually i think "RipIt4me" gets you a cleaner file!! DVD Decrypter will always be the "King Of Rippers" !!

Thanks for the shout back. Most appreciated! Should I just download DVD decryptor instead of RipIt4Me AND will it also work with DVDCloneII? I get weary about trying new software. AnyDVD and DVDCloneII are idiot proof and have always worked well. However I sometimes get a copy that will hang up on playback near the beginning or end of the movie and I can only use TDK -R or I can't copy at all. I used to be able to use any brand, but for some reason lately only TDK works. Fairly new at all this.

RippinMad , yeah i would try a firmware update . the TDK isn't very good media your always better of with Taiyo Yuden and or Verbatim

i would use "RipIt4Me" WITH DVD Decrypter being it imports PSL files for you to do the newer movies and you want to run FixVTS to cleanup the file.
you can do the older movies with DVD Decrypter in file mode alone without problems then CloneDVD 2 BUT not the newer movies.
theres lots of combinations you can use.
try using the ripper in AnyDVD also then transcode with CloneDVD 2 and burn. remember to burn at 8x max. also

Ive been Chicken S*#@ to do a firmware upgrade. Ive been warned that it could screw things up. Not too tech savy. Is this a legit concern or just go for the upgrade? My burner is a few years old and am sure there is an upgrade for it.

Thanks EVERYONE for all of your help. The problem was in the firmware. My burner is newer that my regular drive. When I ran AnyDVD in the newer drive it ran fine. The older drive wouldn't handle it. I guess I will upgrade that next. Bottom line . . . AnyDVD 6.0.8.2 and DVDCloneII work fine together for a clean copy.
Everyone have a great Turkey Day!!!!
