Cropa I have to say I despise people like you. You are clearly wasting everyone's time, enough so that this bogus thread should warrant you a ban from the forum. Your buddy has deleted the 100MB file cause it's slowing his computer. Surely it would only slow up the laptop when he used the emulater. Idiot. If it's idle why would it slow down his laptop.

Anyone who thinks its possible obviously has no idea about anything to do with computer architecture or even the basics about game consoles, if you did you would dismiss this crap before you even read it. As has already been said you need a PC around 10x more powerful than the console your trying to emulate, to effectively recreate the consoles hardware. Because a computer isnt built using the same kind of template/design (only word i could really think of for it) when the game searches for hardware that isnt there it cant load games, so software has to step in and basically make a virtual XBOX which takes a shit load of memory and processor.
Now that I remember, on some display of the early 360 (maybe at E3 of something) they had a 360 that was running off MAC hardware... so maybe there its possible but not with Windows, its too much of a resource hog.
And no doubt the reason it was slowing his computer down was just because its a virus, if he's not running it theres no way it can slow his system down.
EDIT: If this so called emulator really existed why the hell would your mate be the only one with it? the whole world would have it by now and XBOX360 sales would be down to nothing.

xHaydenx is more than likely the same as cropa but it doesnt matter because your all wrong, i tried out this "emulator" and it will run nothing you get an error everytime you click on something...its bull crap, and you said you would have the answer by yesterday and we have ntohing yet!

Wait, you actually tried it, so there is actual attempts at emulating the 360?
I'd be more ready to believe in 360 emulation if - oh, i dunno - the Ps2 and Xbox 1 were able to be emulated to a state that is at least playable. If they can't emulate the current gen, then who in there right mind would believe that 360 emulation is currently possible?
For 360 emulation, wouldn't the PC have to be able to perfectly replicate the architecture that the 360 is using? And wouldn't the fact that the 360 has it's three core processors make it impossible for a standard PC to emulate at all?
I know the game Devs can do it, but it's hardly emulation, as they have customized PC's and 360 dev kits.

I remember that during PS3 development, they were working with MAC'S too, just before the dev kits were ready. Now, don't get me wrong Cropa, I don't believe you need to get a MAC to run your "emulator", because: (1)It's highly unlikely that the machines they used were mainstream models, they were probably using expensive pro hardware; and (2) it's also unlikely that they ran a full emulator of the console, they were probably emulating some components to run some specific software.

Alright, Cropa, you let us know when you get this 360 emulator. It has to be proper emulation, too, so no hooking the 360 up to a monitor with VGA cables or anything like that.
If you can somehow manage to prove that it's possible, and that games are fully playable - I mean as good as it is on a normal TV - then we'll believe you; otherwise, you're just speaking baloney.

virtual pc by microsoft themself can not load its own windows in their own os without struggling, how the hell are the games of a 360 by microsoft gonna load!!!
you have no idea what emulating is, its frigin much more than just a normal program.
