"4. If you want to use both text and image in your signature the image should not be more than 500 pixels wide and 100 pixels tall, and you can use up to three lines of text."
Mine was 320x135. So my sig already used up the space for my text so I can only put a sig up.

Yours is too big. If you have Firefox just righ-click to image and select properties. then look for width and height. That will be the pixel.

About 4months ago before i took an extended break from AD (it wasn't about AD i just have much less free time than i did before) i was in the PSP forum a few times a day, closing countless PAGES of duplicate & useless threads, only to find the VERY next day many many pages of the exact same thing. It got to the stage where i was just wasting my time due to the sheer amount of traffic in there from every kid and his brother bombarding the place with the same old question as the other 30,000 kids. I just couldn't keep up with all the drivel and it was reducing my time in other forums. I return here to find there are now more PSP forums. sigh, i will try to bring order in there but 'fraid there are more important forums to be keeping an eye on, plus bear in mind i like contributing in threads as well as moderating so the more important forums will get my priority

Because some Afterdawn Addicts, Senior members and mods left the PSP section. There is no one left to control those idiots that keep posting the same questions every day apart from a couple of members and I, and about 2 seniors. It is starting to get out of control.
Why was the PSP section split up anyway?

Yeah, i would like to know too why was the
PSP Forums Section splitted up into 4 parts?
It will be more hard to get a hold of those
ppl who doesn't know how to GOOGLE&SEARCH around the forums.
So seriously, PSP Section needs more Mods!

i'm omnipotent, what more could you guys possibly want ?.
edit- but seriously, all we need are more regulars to do more to help themselves, the forums they haunt, and thus the site as a whole, by helping to keep giving people good info, by hitting that 'offensive report' button as much as you can, and thus enable us mods to better do what we do.
..that's ALL that's needed here. As much as we mods protest that we're inhuman and never sleep, we do actually have lives outside of AD (well some of us anyhoo), if enough regulars were doing enough there wouldn't be half the problems there are.
..Ask yourselves, how did us mods become mods - partly from doing JUST THAT, and to be honest, i don't often see too much of the same amount of input from a fraction of enough regulars (in most of the forums on this site) as any of us mods previously put in as regulars... - it's extremely easy to be super-efficient.

I do hit that 'offensive report' button that does violate the rules. I do that about 20 times a day but at the rate of these guys are going I can't keep up!
EDIT: And I don't want the PSP section to close as that was where I met a lot of friends, where a lot of people who helped me, a place where we did have some good times.
Since I came to the Afterdawn forums I have only posted in the PSP section because it is my favourite place to post at.
Even Touran22 remembers his first downgrade there. So many memories and on behalf of all the users that posted at the PSP section I would just ask you not to close this section just yet.
That is all I ask.

...'course i'm right (well most of the time anyhow). just ask yourselves how so few mods keep order on such a huge site.. it's easy, just needs maturity, patience, a firm voice and a steady mouse hand (not that i use the mouse too much being a Unix/Linux bod)

- then you have a small insight as to how us mods keep up with many times more threads/forums than you guys look at, we have to prowl on top of looking at offensive reports..and contrary to rumours we're not octopuses nor do we have as many eyes as spiders, we just put the time/effort in and keep doing it..

There's got to be a solution....
Can you not put the sections together again then it might be a lot easier, instead of jumping onto different forums and pressing that "Report Offensive Post" button.

This site has been running with 2-3 mods with another 3-4 popping in from time to time to take care of business for the last two years. drD isn't going to add any more any time soon I wouldn't think. The same complaints have been registered for a long time and my guess would be that the consoles forums would be removed before more mods are brought on board to handle things.

We just need a couple more mods round that section to control the situation.
