You don't want to burn the zipped ISO, you simply want to burn the ISO.
It is zipped (or RARed) to make it smaller, for quicker uploading/downloading.
So extract the ISO from the zipped folder.
There should be a .dvd file along with the ISO. If not, run the ISO through ABGX360 to have it create one.
Use ImgBurn to burn the .dvd file, not the ISO. The .dvd file has the info in it to tell ImgBurn how to do the layer break correctly (to avoid the "Open Tray" error).
And do not use cheap discs.

I also have been having a problem burning nhl 11, I get the same error, play dvd when I put it in the xbox 360. I am using this to try to figure out what I am doing wrong so I followed the steps with changing the burner settings to dvd+r dl but mine comes up error, so I checked another comptuer and it says the burner is atapi, which tab would I click on in that case? My burner is the tsst samsung tab, I get UNKNOWN (FAILED!) REASON: INVALID FIELD IN CDB

Hi all,
OK, I've been trying all tutorials all around without success.
I have a flushed/modded (I don't know I didn't do it) Xbox360 NTSC-U (made in America) that plays burned games perfectly EXCEPT the games I burn!
I'm using:
Imation DVD+R DL (I have only those at the moment)
my DVD drive is LG GH22NS40 latest update
Windows 7 64 bit
Imgburn latest
Xbox Backup Creator v2.9 and v2.5
Xbox 360 Game Burner
ABGX360
wx360
CloneCD 5.3.1.4
DVDInfoPro latest
DVD Decrypter
XDVDMulleter

I download the games from torrents. The games' regions either NTSC-U or RF (Region Free).
After I burn the games I get either "This region code is incorrect.." or please clean the cd and restart. Though, the burned working games that I got with the console are from NTSC-J to PAL to RF and all are working!! (They're printable Memorex) but I can't get those at the moment.

Question is: IS there any chance to successfully burn an Xbox360 game with Imation DVD+R DL??

Okay I got it!
First, I checked all my 20+ burned xbox360 games and I have found that many of them are Region Free, most of them are NTSC-U,NTSC-J and Asia all together and just two NTSC-J!!! So, my Xbox360 is clearly NTSC-J :S
Anyway, I got some Verbatim DVD+R DL and the games that I downloaded with RF and NTSC-J are working now :D
Now can I change my xbox360 to multi-regional? Is there a hack to do that?

The Verbatim's you have are the best to use. when your burning with img burn have you put the right sector code in? you should have 1913760. go to options, write,then check user specified, type in sector code.
If your burning region free games there shouldn't be a problem.

Only the JTAG hack, which if you have played on xbox live within the last year you cannot do.

Hello,
I tried burning games on imation dvd+r dl but they keep freezing.
The only verbatims I found are MII, so no point risking it!! :(
Any Imgburn refuses to burn my games at 4x. Always defaults to 2.4x. The Imation media is 8x and my dvd writer (liteon sohw-1673s) is 4x. Any pointers on this??

I've downloaded the 360 game and extracted it to a new folder but the icon still looks like a .rar icon, even though it says it's a .iso file; and there's no .dvd file in the folder. When I try opening the .iso file, it's split between audio_ts, video_ts and $SystemUpdate folders. How do I get the .dvd file?
