is there any other method to boot ule from memory card only as i dont have swap magic armax or any such type of disks

Nope only fmcb 1.8 but if your 9000x has date code higher than 8c, then it won't work.

i also own a modded ps2 but usb advance dosent recognizes my external hdd...

i have 500 gb toshiba hdd...wat i did wz tat i hd loads of imp data on it...so i made 2 partions in it and copied t whole data 2 t second partition and formatted 1st one as fat 32...thn i copied t game through usb extreme ...but of no use...wen i put usb advance disk in t console it recognizes t hdd and t game 2....but wen i press x t screen turns blacks and remains like tat...wat sud i do...do u also own 90004 series console...?

USBAdvance doesn't recognize more than one partition. If you want your best to use OPL v0.7 as it has better compatibility and can see the first partition of your hdd.

Are you using Swap Magic or do you have a mod chip installed in your PS2.

If its swap Magic, then make a folder named in all caps like this "SWAPMAGIC"
Then place that folder your USB drive or flash drive.
Inside that folder place uLaunch BOOT.ELF, and rename it too SWAPMAGIC.ELF

When you load up your Swap Magic disc, it will find this SWAPMAGIC.ELF and should boot into uLe.

Use uLe 4.41 to FILEBROWSE to your Mc0 - memory card and just launch the sms player from there.

If you have a modchip, then just burn an ISO image of uLe and use it too filebrowse to memory card and launch elf files.

hi....pal...jz wanted to ask how to burn this opl to cd...coz wen i burned the data disk with nero...ps2 dosent plays it...it goes back to the screen where it shows mc and cd again and again..or can i find an image or bin or cue file for opl...?next is that i ve downloaded several games from torrents and burned tem using alcohol...it works fine...but ive noticed the game playing speed is slow...i guess if it depends on the quality of the dvd...?

OPL is an ELF file, so just place in on a USB flash drive and you can see it there using uLE (ulaunch.elf)
You can then copy it too your memory card or just launch it from the USB flash drive.

Yes if the speed is slow, depends upon the quality of the DVD and the speed you burned it at can make a difference.

It's NOT possible to use a copy of Swap Magic! It will NOT work! That is because the swap magic discs are burnt in the opposite way. I can confirm it doesn't work, because I tried several copies of Swap Magic.

ModBo is a cheap(er) clone of the Matrix Infinity chip. So, it is not software, but hardware. It hasn't anything to do with connecting a hard disk to your PS2.

Hello everyone, seems the forum is full of Playstation experts here

I needed a big help regarding it, I lately purchased a new PS2 SCPH 90004 CB

The worst part is I don't want to get it modded (at least for next few months), to avoid voiding its warranty. Plus, I was wondering to play downloaded games on it and had a little bit of googling done regarding 'how-to' but now I'm so confused as to how to do it coz every one is coming up with plenty of alternatives and I'm really fucked up with it now.

So can anyone please suggest me how can I play burned CD games or games from my portable HDD (500 GB) without getting my console modded? What is needed to be downloaded or burned?..Please helpppp

You just need to buy Swap Magic 3.6 and Swap Tool Pro V4. Block Sensor A (the reset button)and B (disc brake), which doesn't void your warranty at all

Swap Magic can load apps (elf files) - instructions

Then you can use OPL v0.8 to load games from hdd

Smokyrain....... i m manas nd i used ulaunch but it didn't work.I burned it to a cd using nero but when i inserted it in the PS2 it showed 'no data on disc'.......buddy help....nd reply as soon as possible nd pls tell me how to use usb advance with the help of a pendrive

As 'imanruag' said, you can try a different version or DVD version of uLaunch

The 4.38 version from this thread works for me

I hv a ps2 version SCPH-90004...in PAL,bought from sony,bangalore,india......and want to play burned and pirated games on it as the real ones are kinda costly....can anybody help me in this...pls..
I tried blocking my 2 sensors but it si still not working...and Swap magic is also not available in india.....
I tried downloading swap magic as a torrent and burned it to a cd but tats nt working......

I really want to play burned games on my ps2..pls help me to crack it...
OR does anybody know a place in bangalore to mod it for a cheap price..
