There is no verified rip of this Xex/SS combination in the online database
Falied to find a verified ini file for this Xex/SS combination

Originally posted by NDarkness: Alright now I should have done this before making my How to Burn a 360 Game guide first since this is what you want to do in the beginning. So here we go- How to stealth patch your 360 games.
Things you will need-
1. .iso file. (.dvd file optional)
2. ABGX tutorial (download here- http://www.megaupload.com/?d=BNXFIP2W )
3. ABGX (download here- http://abgx360.x-scene.com/abgx360_v1.0.0_setup.exe )
Directions-
1. Have your .iso and .dvd file (if you have it) ready in your desktop or in the same folder.
2. Download and install ABGX.
3. Start up ABGX. Now you will need to tweak the settings. Using the tutorial, do so.
4. Now that you have all of the settings changed, let's check the 360 game.
OK I will be using Too Human as an example (Protip- click the pictures to make them bigger)-
5. Start up ABGX again (if you have closed it).
6. Open your .iso file-
7. Your .iso file should now be selected-
8. Now click the AutoFix tab and then in the bottom click the huge button that says "Launch". It's the one button that goes from blue to green as shown-
9. Now a new window will pop up. Just let it do its thing and watch in amazement. The first thing it does is it checks if the database needs updating. Then it checks the .dvd file. If there is not one then the program will make one for you.
What you want to see is all green/blue. If there is red then something might be wrong.
Alright so as you can see everything is green/blue. Now do what the program says and press any key to exit out.
Finally all you need to do is to burn the game. Follow this guide to do so-
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/729303
SECTION II: How to Check if Your Burned 360 Games are Stealth Patched-
Have some games burned on a disc that you forgot to check if they are stealth patched properly? Don't want to rip the .iso? Don't have the HDD space? No worries, ABGX can check the data from disc.
OK I will be using Afro Samurai (or Alfo Samurai as it says lol) as an example (Protip- click the pictures to make them bigger)-
(MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SET UP THE SETTINGS IN ABGX AS MENTIONED PREVIOUSLY.)
1. Open up ABGX.
2. Click AutoFix-
3. Click the drop-down menu in the Input box-
4. Click DVD Drive-
5. Select the DVD Drive you are using to read the DVD-
6. Click the big button in the bottom that turns from blue to green-
7. Now let ABGX do its thing. You will want to see all blue and green- no red.
And that's it. If it's not stealth patched properly then you will need to rip the .iso and run it through ABGX so that the program can fix it.
Finally all you need to do is to burn the game. Follow this guide to do so-

Great guide. Few questions. What do I do in version 1.01. I don't have "Check Game Partition CRC" and a few other things are different but I think I got those figured out. Any ideas?

You don't have to change anything else. You can look through the settings and check the info bubbles to see if you would like to change the setting though.

ok just tried stealth patching street fighter 4 and getting this 404 error. so what abgx360.ini files am i suppose to be changing? i did all steps in the first post and still getting this error.
also if i rip the game from an actual copy of the game does this need to be stealthed? (example: like borrowing friends copy and ripping from that, or ripping game i already own)

in the options tab there is a check box for show achievments and another for hide secret ones, if these are checked will all achievments be unlocked and added to your gamerscore?

....no.....
@lazytitan-
Keep trying with ABGX. Sometimes it takes a couple of tries to not get the 404 error.
Also if you rip from an original copy properly then you will not need to run it through ABGX. But for good reassurance you can.

sometimes deleting all files in the stealthfiles folder and then rechecking can cause 404 to go a way if the ini is actually in the db for that pressing

You are using the OLD version of ABGX. go here www.abgx360.net and get the new version. all settings will be set correct when u install it so no need to change anything or swap ini file. you can verify autofix is set to level 3 but more than likely that is the default in new version.
Also make sure you uninstall the old version you have now before installing the new one. IF you overwrite it can cause issues.

Great thread guys thanks for all the info. I have been playing offline for the last year or so and just got online with iXtreme 1.51 I'm reburning my online multiplayer capable games after checking them with abgx. My question is do I still have to check and reburn my old games that don't have online multiplayer capability? For instance, "Shellshock 2" is a single player game with no online features, do I still need make sure it's patched? Does a any game without online capability still go on XBL in anyway to verify itself?
Thanks to everyone here and the AD community.

yes singleplayer games operate no differently. since they also connect to live and show on your status that you are playing them they also do the same checks as a multiplayer game would. like ninja gaiden 2 for example it is single player but has leaderboards so it is still using live. even games without leaderboards report to live tho. so you should check them all if want to be safe as possible.
checking from disc sucks tho it takes mine at least 20 mins if not more

Thanks so much stealthhdf! I guess I have alot of checking to do...lol I was googling other forums and someone else suggested creating a separate profile with no XBL account and then just use the XBL account profile when I want to go online. What do you think about that? Thanks again

some pwople do that but some also think that the 360 keeps a record of all games played and reports them online regardless of account or anything. no one knows for sure tho so it cant be said what works 100% and what doesnt.
