I think there will be a Bootmii folder either way.
The diffrence is Bootmii should boot first before anything else if it is installed as Boot2. If it is installed as an IOS then you need to launch it through the Homebrew Channel.

What cIOS did you have before updating to cIOS38_rev12?
I still don't see how running IOS60 patch would interfere with the cIOS or USB Loader.

i've never seen bootmii boot before the wii system menu pops up so mabe i have launch it thru homebrew, but i dont see the folder, am i gonn have to stick the card in my computer and copy the bootmii folder to the apps folder?

Don't worry about Bootmii anymore. If you never booted into the Bootmii menu first then more then likley it is installed as an IOS.
What cIOS did you have before updating to cIOS38_rev12?

Download the cIOS38_rev13a installer from HERE and place it in your apps folder.
Try installing it and see if that works for you.

Kind of odd that cIOS38_rev12 dosen't work for you.
I knew it wasnt caused by the IOS60 Patch becuase the USB Loader is dependent on IOS249 only.
Glad you got it to work.

i have the same problem and was was wondering if this method would work for a wiikey modded 3.2j...
should i follow this method as well?

I have the same problem that Nordicca had, I have 4.1u installed. When I run WAD manager to patch IOS60patched and NeoGamma r7. I get (installing ticket..Error! (ret=-2011) Do you still have the second pack somewhere and the iso38_rev13a? What do you think is going on?

I don't know why the IOS60Patcher wad will not work for you.
Try the other IOS60 patcher that runs from the Homebrew channel.
You can download my other softmod pack from this link HERE.
Don't follow any of the directions in this guide. Just download the pack I have linked. Then run Homebrew Channel and then run IOS60 installer from the Homebrew Channel list.
