Hi,
can anyone tell me any sites to dpwnload free driver for psp? I dont have this software so that my computer cannot recognize psp

i am having the same problems
Look Man you have to check a couple of things.
1. Right click my computer on your desktop. Go to properties. The last line under system should say Service Pack 2.
Got it? If not go to the windows update website and get it its 14mbs.
2. Go to C:/windows/system32/drivers make sure that usbstor.sys is there.. if it isnt there reinstall service pack 2 . if it is.. well then here is what u check..
1.USb port. try different ports it may that port.
2.USB cord. In my research i found that a lot of ppl had faulty cords(mad catz and other third party companies). Find a bud with a psp and use his, or try a different computer and see if it works on that computer.
3.OS System: you might have to reinstall your os system. while i have seen ppl say that this worked for them i also seen ppl say it hasnt worked.. make sure you make a backup of your important files before going through with this step. Reinstall your os and then install service pack 2
If you still havent gotten it to work you are in for a frustrating ride.

im sorry to say this is a common problem with windows 98 and windows 2000 starting in september nmicrosoft is stoping support for these versions of windows and you will have to go to windows xp or windows
vista and maybe a new computer as well

if you have windows 98 install the latest service pack from microsoft
if you have a illegal version tough you cannot install it

install the latest service pack for windows 2000 as well and it will also fix this problem
