For those still having problems getting content to their vzw phones with memory cards. Useing a USB cable is not the answer. To use the cable, you also have to use programs such as BitPim which takes allot of technical know how and is very potentially dangerous to your phone with a simple mistake. The memory card with it's Reader is very simple and easy. Like I've explained before, I began with getting a Reader and 256MB card at Best buy that came together for like $ 70.00 a couple years ago. Now you can get a 1GB card, like I did at most anywere including Verizon. Also available at sites as www.buy.com or www.tigerdirect.com etc. Over the weekend I saw at a local Comp USA a 2 and 4GB mini sd card ( for those who want to store 12 seasons of "Friends" ). But simply just get your Reader and Card; wheater it's a mini sd or Transflash, put it in your phone, power it on and Format it. That way when you then put it in the Reader and then the USB of your P.C., generating a new Drive in your "My Computer", all the oppropriate folders will be availabe, i.e. My Flix, My MP3's, My Sounds, and My Pix. Go to the items you want on your phone, making sure there in the proper formats, right click and send them to your new "Drive" located at your "My Computer". when done, go to "My Computer" open your new "Drive" were you should find all your Folders ( should be 4 of them ). Drag and Drop the items into the appropriate folder, exit "New Drive" / "My Computer" / Safely disconect your Reader, take Card out and put in POWERED OFF phone, turn it on and everything "Should" be located in it's proper Gallery. AS suggested before by myself and others www.howardforums.com has a WEALTH of information with people ready to help. But as Warned before, before you Post a question; which you first have to Register for, make sure you browse around and even do an eternal search on the subject your looking for to make sure it was'nt already addressed, because their known to "Flam" you if you do ! Anyways, from the main menu go to Verizon wireless / Phone discusion / then appropriate Model, i.e. LG. *They also have an awsome WAP site to go to on your WAP 2.0 Browser. I think it's wap.howardforums.com ~Good luck, you will find a wealth of info there as I have and still am. In the LG section, they have a Thread / Tutuor for "LG vx9800 Newbies" that might be helpful..
