Hello everyone, I'm not much into NGC games mostly I just go out and buy the one or two NGC games I want but I want to play the Japanese Naruto games. Should I just buy Free Loader? So what I want to know if Free Loader supports Backups with the use of some Blank Mini DVD's or a Viper Case and some regular DVD's. Thanks for the help. BTW I'm a PS2 expert but a total Newbie at NGC

Hi!

Freeloader won't help you on backups. If you don't mind getting the soldering iron out you could go for the Xeno GC chip, it's almost as cheap as the Freeloader disk and will allow both imports and backups.

There are other chips/ways of playing backups, but will require a little more cash.

I'm not a full NGC freak I just want to play like 2 games. I'm just wondering if Free Loader will boot backups or if I will have to import the Narutos from Japan.

As Stir_Fry said, "Freeloader won't help you on backups."

im not a big NGC person my self just got one to check it out. but i got a qoob pro mod chip
and it works flawlessly, I would kinda like to have a backup option (as the viper chip) but for
what i do its fine. Cant he do a region mod on it as well???? that would be cheaper that
freeloader as radio shack sells all of what you need.

http://modthatcube.pxn-os.org/content/regionfree.htm

that will tell you more, but i would still go with a chip so you could backup your " hard to find
imports" and should boot any region game.

Front Load NES, DreamCast, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 3, MacBook Pro (w/ Laser Etching), iPhone 8Gb (w/ Laser Etching)
