i cant get blade trinity to copy. i get the message: not enough room on disk need to compress. its not a setting problem because i have been backing up my other dvds no problemo. any ideas?
You mean something like "not compressable"? If so, then that's a well known ARccOS. What region is Blade Trinity are you trying to rip and backup? I remembered the US (Region 1) is just a piece of cake with DVD Decrypter.
I suggest you follow the guide carefully, let me know what's your results. All you need to do is change your title/movie name only, everything should be the same.

It can't be ARccOS. It's a New Line release, not a Sony release.
mgrilla, if you don't have AnyDVD, I recommend alkohol's DVDFab Decrypter/VOB Blanker method.
Rip the disc via DVDFab Decrypter. Run the files you get with DVD Fab Decrypter through VOB Blanker. When this is done, you can use DVD Shrink, Nero Recode or CloneDVD to analyize the files. Be sure to set the target size to around 4300 or 4400 so that you don't burn too close to the edge.
DVDFab Decrypter and VOB Blanker are both free, whereas AnyDVD will cost you $39 after the 21 day trial period. AnyDVD is great, though. Worth every penny, IMO.
i agree re: AnyDVD, and i use it, however that didnt work with shrink or DVD Decrypter. i'll try dvdfab decrypter and see how that goes. fyi it's USA zone 1 disk.
