Need to Know, Where exactly is the default setting on the Laser of a V12, where it states DVD and CD, so I can start again...and going to try to interchange from a different V12 also...

Also, what does everyone use to change/measure these settings, because it is not very accurate, taking a flat head screwdriver, moving it an inch or so, putting it back together and trying it again..

When you guys, try to alter these settings, how far do you turn, and which way..clockwise or counterclockwise...

One Last Thing, Are all PS2 Slim Lasers the same?
Like Can I take one out of aV14-V13-V12, in put it in another one no problem?
Also, how would I be able to tell one apart without opening it up?

The original settings are never really the same on all the lasers from my experience, and i have never come across a slimline where these adjusments where required, its always been dead lasers, the lasers in a v12, v13, and v14 are not all the same, they are different, you should be able to tell by the metal plate around the top of the laser.
