When I record a movie I use dvd decrypter to take the encryption then I use dvd shrink to compress the files . But this one movie takes like an hour in dvd decrypter and dvd shrink wont work at all . Is there any way to burn this movie in dvd shrink or with another program . More importantly is it free and how can I get my hands on it . Help would be greatly appreciated . Thanx .

Try ripping the disc with this free prog - dvdfab decrypter. You can download it here:
http://dvdidle.com/free.htm
Then open the files in shrink and process as usual.
BTW what's the movie?

Just from what I read it sounds like it's a bad disc (crc). Try switching to an agressive read mode in DVDD. If that doesn't work then you should do it w/ FAB.
