I d/l a movie... then I converted the .rar files into .avi with AviToDvd, then I used WinAvi Video Converter to DVD files. At 99% I get this error message from WinAvi Video Converter
Access violation at address 1002E9B9 in module "MMTranslation.DLL". Read of address 0000010C.
Can anyone please tell me what the problem is? And how to repair the problem after wasting 4 hours of my time....

for one thing you are trying to copy a downloaded movie that has not yet hit the streets so that is a no no that is illegal, and dont say you payed for it cuse we know better so don't post anything about movies that you have downloaded from the net that you don't own . you could get banned real quick from this forum.

I think it is a serious error. Maybe you need to use other software, such as cucusoft avi/mpeg to dvd converer or dvdsanta.
