hi i have a version7 ps2 and one day i tried to openthe ps2 because itsaid the dreaded DISC READ ERROR message and i was turning the cog whell thingy and I FORGOT THE ORIGINAL POSITION!! and now i got a black screen no audio no video the eject button isnt working the led isnt on im seriously screwed somone please help me. is there a way to get the laser back toits original postion.

you shoulda marked it with a black marker like i did, cuz that what it said in the directions. but i still didnt put it to the original posistion and mine works fine, but ine is a v4. i also got a v12
