im playin a us version of final fantasy 8 on my pal ps2 using breaker pro but about an hour into the game when you play the first battle as laguna the game will just frezze any idea why?

What media did you burn the game to? Make sure you burn it onto high quality dye and at the slowest speed.

nah FF8 is not a copy i bought it(i always buy the final fantasy games)
and the breaker pro is not a copy i bought that off of ebay
