there is a way around this. i assume youre using DVD Shrink. i have found that discs that cannot open w/ this are either too dirty or have some seriously jacked up copy protection. use easy DVD Shrink to back it up. MAKE SURE to not burn the video-ts files from this application. take them rather , and run them thru DVD Shrink and make an .iso and burn w/ DVD Decrypter. may take a bit longer w/ the second encode but guarantee results. also make sure to run a dvd laser cleaning disk thru player/burner once ever 12 hours of use

cdt79,
D/L and run the files through DVDFAB Decrypter
D/L and use Vobblanker next on the files DVDFab Decrypter ripped
Use Shrink on the vob'd files and process as you normally would

actually, DVD Shrink to decrypter .iso files w/ css+region-free in the background does not fix this problem.

blade 2

never tried the VOB fix files mentioned above but quite sure theyll work.
i for one am stuck in my ways and so tried and true, my method will work

to each his own!!

Did this series about a week ago with no problems. DVD Shrink with AnyDVD running in background.

Possible faulty/dirty disk.

@cdt79

Here's what you need to do:

<> Get the latest from DVDFAB Decrypter to rip the movie into your hard drive
<> process the VIDEO_TS.IFO file through VobBlanker 2.1.0.0
<> transcode the VIDEO_TS file with DVD Shrink or Nero Recode 2 as usual
<> and burn your final VIDEO_TS or ISO file at your desire burning engines.

100% success!! Or you can try my new guide (DVD Decrypter, PSL plugins + FixVTS) under my sig. Honestly, I have never ran into any dvds/movies that my "DVDFAB Decrypter combo VobBlanker" can not handle regardless if it's RipGuard or ARccOS.

Good luck!!
