I have ripped several movies and have only had some minor problems with wash out but when I went to do oceans 11 the picture is so choppy and washed out it is garbage.

i did the same process as usuall rip with dvd decrypetr then iso editer then trancode with rempeg 2 I set the scale factor at 84% as dvdr calc showed and the output resolution to 720 * 480

anyone know any tricks to make the picture better on really large movies (ie scale factor or changing my output resolution to 480*480 help ???
