i found this program that aloud my to do so.. it just shrinks it a free program.. thay say thays a link to get decryption soft ware for it.. but i use dvdfab.. well heres the link for hows intersed http://www.shrinkto5.com/default.asp

with shrink you can not brun tittles and all on a duale layer dvd with this new program you can.. if you ever tyed to back up a sony dvd you know what i mean.. DVD Shrink just does movie only.. with shrinkto5 gui you can do menus and all.. it worth looking at..

if you do a full disk you can back op the whole disk with shrink myself i use the reauther part of shrink cuss i want better quailty. don't need the menus or the extras and the picture is much better this way

also there is nothing special about sony disks the programs that i use are shrink and dvd region+cssfree running in the backround, if you look at some of my posts you will see that i have had no problems with any thing that has coime out on dvd at all

Well true, some of the DVD's that people have had problems backing-up gave me no problem(s). But at the sametime, others have I normally just use DVD Shrink , and AnyDVD , but when a problem arises I must use VobBlanker ...I don't know it's kinda weird lol =/

VobBlanker shouldn't be required anymore with the newest release of anydvd (not yet availiable). Anydvd will now include a ripper for use on problematic dvds, here a little info on what's to come:
Added "AnyDVD Ripper". This little tool repairs defective DVDs while copying them to your harddisk. It can be started from the menu of the AnyDVD fox icon. It is identical to FixVTS (http://www.videohelp.com/~FixVTS/) but instead of fixing problems "in place" it copies the files to your harddisk directly from the source DVD. It fixes the problems while the files are copied. Some DVDs which have severe mastering defects e.g., "Menace II Society" R1 (US) can now be copied with all DVD copy tools (elby CloneDVD, DVDShrink, etc.) Many thanks to the author of FixVTS! "AnyDVD Ripper" is a tool intended as a "last resort". It is not beautiful, and some of its messages cannot be localized yet.
