I`ve been using Verbatim +R media for awhile and havent ever had any problems burning movies till now.
The other week when Best Buy had Verbatim Digital Movie DVD +R (1x-4x) on sale for $7.99, I went ahead and bought a pack well to say the least 5 movies that I burned came out crappy like half way through the movie the video and sound gets choppy or skips, I did a DVDInfo and there MCC 02.
So today I went and bought the Verbatim DVD +R 16x, these are the ones that I mainly use if I dont have any Taiyos and so far no problems. DVDInfo MCC04
Has anyone else have had any problems with the MCC02 type or any sugestions.

try speeding up the burn to @4x, i NEVER get ANY quality backups burning @2.4x, in my eyes, that is simply TOO SLOW on any quality media~ :)

Those should code as MCC-002. I've burned several hundred of them and they are pretty good. Not as good as the +8x MCC-003 which are awesome, and the +16x MCC-004.

It should still be pretty good media.Maybe your burner doesn't like them. I know my benq 1620 defintely hates those same discs in the dash format.I'll burn those MCC-002 verbs all day long!

Definitely speed them up to their recommended 4x speed.Quality media along with a quality drive=faster burn speed!
I also notice on my benq 1640 that I have to burn at 8x to get the MCC-004 verbs to perform best.2.4x burns are a big no-no with lots of errors.

You'll want to run your backups through:
Dvdinfopro/nero speed test/or plextools to check on the errors.
