I can't seem to find a good soldering guide for installing a matrix infinity into a PS2 slim. I have installed a few xecuters in xboxes.. Are ps2's harder to self-mod?

and XBOX isn't a drop in the bucket in comparison to PS2 modding, i can mod most XBOX's in less then 20 min (even quicker with the new Xenium Gold), slim PS2s are the easiest PS2 to mod and require 45 min, V4-V10 over an hour and V1-V3 can be many hours. the skills required at 10x over XBOX and a pro X modder might not ever get a PS2 to work.

Can the matrix infinity boot backups without having to reflash the bios with another third party build?

the matrix team makes their own flash it's not 3rd party and they come flashed ready to play.
