I tried to download Lord of the Rings Two Towers, and the PosTX file gives me video but no audio, while the ViTE file gives me audio and no video. Does anyone know if this has to do with my media player or if these files being shared on Kazaa are just like this?

you have a lack of codecs problem. You need to get updated codecs.
