FTP transferring too much? Why?

Ok so I am trying to FTP from my xbox to my PC to save copies there.. but I am having a weird problem... some files are transferring more then they actually are... ie... the transfer bar doest stop at 100% but keeps going up to 400%+... any idea why this is happening? Most the files work ok, but I can't figure out why the FTP is basically inflating some of these files.
