Hi i have got a .wmv video on my pc. when i try to play it with media player classic it comes up with a box saying :

it also has a drop down box at the top which has Audio Switcher::Out. and it has that 7 times.

with each one the area at the top slightly changes here's what they change to :

Ok update i have now found out that i cant play any of my WMV files yet AVI synth says that i should be able to play them. could this mean a problem with my WMA codec? I also can't play any WMA music files.

try downloading K-Lite codec pack

Ok i've fixed it with a system restore to 2 days ago.

P.S philraz i already have that installed :)
