How do i play wirelessly with other players on my psp?

i want to know how to play with people like around me...and if i do do they have to have the same game or can they download play like a ds....? and i was wondering if someone can tell me how to play wirelessly with other peaple online...

ok let us begin.

playing other people around you is called ad hoc. this lets you play anybody that has the same game play each other wirelessly.

but there is a trick i havn't tried yet. all you have to do is when you go to ad hoc and you are putting in the settings to play, set it as time unlimited. then you can take out the umd disk. then when it asks if you want to quit the game say "no". then put in the game in the other persons psp and load up the game. then you should be able to play someont with the same game

now on the internet you have to have a router, then when you went to ad hoc mode you should now go to INTERFRACTURE mode and you should be able to go the main page of the game. then you can play with people all over the world!!! hahahaha

ya but....i have wipeout pure and i click multiplayer and it says searching for other players...and it stays like that for like 10 min....is it supposed to?

so if i want to swith from playing with people around me and from people all over the world i just have to keep on switch from ad hoc to infrastructure?

keep the switch on but on wipeoutpure i have no idea. never used it i have 2.6 and can't use it really.

On wipeout pure the multiplayer button probably means playing with people that are close to you who have the same game as well. just get another friend who has it and click multiplayer. create a lobby thingy and tell your friend to join.
