I have decrypted a DVD with DVDFab Decrypter after dvdshrink couldn't.
Now, when I try to analyze with dvdshrink(with open files option) the files that DVDFab Decrypter decrypted to the hardisk, A problem occurs.
When the analysis gets to the file vts_0_2.vob, it presents the following error: "Invalid access to memory location".
This problem occurs with several dvds that DVDFab Decrypter decrypted.
After a long search over the web, I found a solution to cancel the check next to the play preview option in the analysis window. It solved the problem, but it caused a new problem.
Now the outcome of the analysis is a DVD large then 4.7GB, that can't be shrinked.
When I choose the backup option, it warns me the size is too big for a DVD.
I chose to continue in spite of the warning and the backup process stopped before the burning, due to "programming error".
Is there another solution to my original problem (Invalid access to memory location)?
If not, what is the solution to the new problem?
Sorry for the length of the massage.
Thanks!

Shrink the (Too Large) DVD to a file on your hard disk, then Shrink THAT file again. The result should be a file that is proper size.
That method works on SOME DVD's, but not all..

@elrad
"file is too big, red bar, not compressable" with DVD Shrink? This is a common ARccOS protection. To solve this problem, all you need is VobBlanker 2.1.0.0 and you'll be free of misery.
For more info on how to use VobBlanker, use my "DVDFAB Decrypter + VobBlanker method" under my sig. or you can try my new guide "DVD Decrypter & PgcEdit" under my sig as well.
Yes, it is TRUE that DVDFAB Decrypter can rip the movie (VIDEO_TS file) into the hard drive successfully, but when trying to "transcode" (especially the latest movies) with DVD Shrink or Nero Recode, it will still come up with errors such as "red bar = not compressable" this is a well known ARccOS protection and an "out of memory error" this is a typical RipGuard protection. So you'll need VobBlanker to "process and filter" out those junks, craps, dummy cells, pgcs or fake/encrypted sectors.
I have never ran into any dvds/movies that VobBlanker can not process whatsoever. Once ripped by DVDFAB Decrypter or DVD Decrypter into the hard drive, then process with VobBlanker and the rest is history, end of misery period.
Best of lucks to all!!

Yes you can, if you desire to use Clonedvd2 instead of DVD Shrink or Nero Recode 2. The reason why I listed DVD Shrink and Nero Recode is because more people are using them only.

if you're using clone dvd, might as well use AnyDVD too. worth the price for the combo. save some steps over the guide.
