Hey Lucid did you end up getting the USDM Disks? I'm also thinking about buying some from CDrom2go.com. Did anybody else try these?

Well I finaly broke down and bought some of these USDM 1x DVD-R Discs from cdrom2go.com and they seem to work just fine in my Sony DRU510A burner. They also play in my Playstation 2 and my Sony set top DVD player as well as my DVD-Rom drive. The only problem is they take a while to burn. 1x is as fast as they go but for 0.79 cents per disk I'm not complaining.

Jevon, I ended up buying the brand of ACCU Media from Meritline. They worked great no coasters yet anyway. And these do burn at the 2.4 X with no trouble. Only wish I could burn at the 4X that my drive can do but then again Im sure that the media would be much more expensive. btw here is the link for that media incase your interested.

Well I spoke to soon. I've burned about 40 of them so far and I've had 8 coasters. I'll go with the Accu next time. Thanks for the tip Lucid.

Np.. btw I have found that with the Memorex dvd +r's they work very well also.. but they are a bit on the expensive side.. but when I see them on sale with the dvd case included in a 10 pack I pick them up.. I sometimes find them at a best buy or wallmart for like 21.00 sometimes.. and that is with the case.. so when I see them like that I pick them up when I can.

Hey Lucid, I took you suggestion and ordered the Accus from Meritline. How are they working for you? I haven't received them yet but I was just curios about what kind of drive you have. Are you able to burn to Accus past 4GB? The USDM's that I bought burn to the end but when I play them back in any DVD or DVD-Rom they start to skip taward the end of the movie and eventually stop playing. Have you had this problem with the Accu's?

Thanks,

Jevon
