hi my mate has a 160 GB Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm Hard drive and im not sure if the ide hd has bad sectors and my mate said when he booted the hd it said bios and i hav the hd advance and the network adaptor and all i need is a hd and my mate said tht he will sell it to me but im not sure if it will work with the hd advance so i was wondering if anyone knows if the hd will still work with the hd advance ??? please help me

every hd ive install have been fine from 10-250 gig but they have all been maxtors

if you are buying a hard drive off ebay is listed under pc or ps2 cos if its under ps2 i would image it will work just fine if not its a big risk check the ps2 hard drive compat list
