I have been trying to burn games like forever now, NOTHING WORKS. Jizmak (a memeber of afterdawn) has been helping me alot but we still cant achieve much. I know you guys must be like omg go read other threads. But i have for the last month and i never saw anything about my exact problem.
MY system:
V5 PS2, swap magic 3.6, Pnp Key, and recently made my own slide slide card.
http://www.mod-chip.com/index-cart-us.php?go=en/ps2nosolder.php
My problem:
i have burn many copies of games and none of them work. I burn with DVD Decryptor at 2x and i dont multi task. I use verbatim dvds, both DVD-R and DVD+R.
When i swap for DVD-R, the swap majic screen
[IMG]http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y198/cadilakpimpin50/swapscreen.... loads and then stays black forever.
When i use DVD+R the loading screen in swap majic^^^ doesnt not load and stays in the same screen for a minute and then displays a message saying. "not a valid ps2 disc"
So i have NO IDEA what is going on! Can any one help?
I also made a video today showing what i did with my slide card and what happened.

when you put in the backup game, you put in the slide card, but it didn't look like you did anything. You have to pull the pin all the way back to the left to where it was when you used the slide card to open the tray. Also, when you slide to open the tray, just pull the slide card straight out, it should pull the tray out with it so you don't have to use that other tool.

I have tried so many times but the cd rom does not pop out when i just slide it. So i use nail clippers to clip and pull. And i do slide the card all the way back to the original place when im done swaping. Look at the video again and put on high volume, you should hear the the click that it makes when it sanps into place.

What game are you trying? Have you tried hitting square instead of x (special boot)?

The only other thing i can think of is maybe your ps2 doesn't like verbatim discs. Have you burned any movies on those discs and tried them in your ps2?

i got another idea. Take the cover off your ps2, then take the cover off the laser bay. Now, take the white circular piece off the lid you just removed. Put the swap magic disc onto the spindle and put the white circular piece on top off it. Boot swap magic, and swap that way. Your ps2 will look like picture 7 when your booting http://www.ps2cover.com/coverinstallation.jpg

It would factor out the slide card. It was just a suggestion.

YES YES YES!!! I think my problem could be fixed now.
Ok so my DVD+R backups dont work. BUT DVD-R backups do. what i do is i swap, then wait for 15 seconds and then i press x to load my backup. By doing this i have been getting different results!!!! Now what happens is it loads, then goes to white screen where i can see my memory card. It says reading disc or w/e and then takes me to the pink screen. I have no idea if this is a good or bad thing, but to me it progress and i think this problem can be fixed right? what do u guys think? Do you know anyting about this type of error?

The problem is that when i swap for my Midnight club 3 DUB the cd spins loads. Then stops spinning and never loads forward, stays in the black screen not even trying to spin
