Have been using DVDXCopy and had success. After reading through the forum, I decided to try DVD Decrypter - DVD2One and COPY to DVD. Everything worked great, no failures but when I tried to play the DVD it showed NO DISC present. I then burned it with Nero and it worked and played great. Does Copy to DVD require you to make certain settings inside the program. I have a NEC 1100a +R writer.

Don't know, because I allways use Nero.
Burn them in DVD-rom UDF/ISO mode, works in 4 standalone players (I tested) as well as in the Playstation 2.

I agree use UDF/IFO Mode in Nero & all is well when coming to play in stand alone DVD players.

Thanks for the advice, I had been using DVD video, and with my Sony player it works. I will try the other way as well.

I have always used DVD-VIDEO and gotten perfect compatibility. Any reason to switch to DVD-IFO/ISO if all is well or does this mode improve on playstation/xbox compatibility?

UDF/IFO seems to be better for DVD Video.

ISO seems to better for backing up games.

This is just my opinion

My miniguide at the top of this forum suggests DVD-Video in the compilation window (ie not wizard!) and that works fine for many users.

I see no reason to DV8. Try it.

Paul.
