SONY DVD-R'S FROM BESTBUY

so i was out shopping yesterday and i hit up best buy and i saw these sony 25 spindles on sale for $7.99.so i bought 2 spindles to try them out,i figured what the hell, i have a sony lite on burner my burner will probably love these discs.

anyway i usually root through all the spindles to see if i can find "made in japan" instead of "made in tawain".cause i figure the japans will probably be yudens right?are these sony tawains still good media?

oh and get this all the sony 50 spindles that were not on sale(retail $39.99)were all made in japan,are these yudens?.they must of had 50-60 spindles of these all "made in japan"are these the goods?can you even find any "made in japan" media on 25 spindles or do you usually just find them on 50 and 100 spindles?

YES the MIJ Sonys are Taiyo Yudens ,TYGO2s .The MIT or ok but not as good as the MIJ . and it doesnt matter what the spindles size is if there MIJ Sonys there TYGO2s

BTW you can get Taiyo Yudens online at supermediastore.com or meritline.com for 56 to 58 bucks for 200 pack and that inculds shipping ,that way it takes ALL the guess work out digging though media at the B&M stores

I am a little hesitant to buy from supermedia store. I love the sony's MIJ. They are taiyo Yudens. The thing i dont like about the tayio yudens from those stores is they are always shiny silver. Dont they get scratched easily, and dust and marks on them very easily? Thats a reason why i stick with the sony MIJ. They have a nice white surface to write on. I mean you just wait for the sale 50 pack for 14.99, and buy a couple packs and you basically get the same price as online.

I've had no problems with the MIT Sony -r's. They have an off white matte surface with some print on it which doesn't get in the way (on top & bottom halves of the disc) I use to write on.
