The Swap Magic Discs are a way of booting up copied PS2 games using .You cant simply insert a backed up ps2 game because it will not recognise the disc(unless you have an internal modchip). This is because all PS2 games are pressed with a special boot sector which the ps2 reads in order to verify its an original copy.No domestic DVD burner can replicate this as of yet. Swap magic simply boots up and brings you to a menu where you then replace the swap magic disc with your backup copy. Its not really rocket science very simple.

If you have a slimline ps2 you will need to cover three sensors so that you can open the fliptop without the ps2 knowing therefore still thinking it has an original ps2 disc in it ie Swap Magic.

If you have a bulky Ps2 id recommend buying a fliptop which is fairly easy to install.

So basically What you need is:

Swap magic 3.6 Dvd and CD
Fliptop if you have a bulky ps2
For the Ps2 slimline id just do what ive done and get some sticky tape out for the sensors.Works a charm lol

gd luck

ps2 slimline
200+ backups Verbatim DVD+R 8X
Swap Magic 3.6

yes correct you just have to cover sensors in the slimline or buy a fliptop for the bulky ps2 so you can replace the swap magic disc with the backup without the ps2 knowing.

Swap Magic 3.6
