use a 15watt soldering iron (with pencil tip) as this gives less chance of damaging anything. just use regular pcb solder from radio shack

I would also recommend getting some flux paste (helps clean the joints and for the solder to adhere better).

NTSC DNAS threads.

Could anyone suggest a place to get good cheap no-clean solder flux. I'm looking for something to help me get jobs done faster. Unfortunately I am admittedly a bit of a puts, and feel that if I had a no-clean sodlering flux, it would really reduce the risk of me doing something retarded like static zapping an entire board or accidentally using the wrong kind of cleaning chemical on a board after going through all the trouble of soldering multiple chips onto a pcb board.

I'm looking into adding another 64b of memory to my xbox.... So I'm hoping for a good solution before I screw it up too bad.
